Bo Wang



Bo Wang, Ph.D., the fourth-level distinguished professor of the "Outstanding Talent Special Branch" of Henan University, is mainly engaged in the research and application of Bound States in the Continuum (BIC) in the continuum spectrum of photonic crystal thin films. In recent years, he has published 8 papers included in SCI, including one in Nature Photonics as the first author and one in Physical Review Letters as a co-author.

Research direction:

The properties and applications of BIC in photonic crystal films;

Application of photonic crystal film in the field of Augmented Reality (AR).


Host and participate in research projects:

The start-up funding for the fourth-level distinguished professor of Henan University's "Special Support for Outstanding Talents", 2 million, 2021.03-2026.03, project leader;

Development of a broad-spectrum momentum space/real-space imaging spectrum measurement system, a national major scientific research instrument development project, 8.175 million, 2018.01-2020.06, project participant.
