Furui Tan



Furui Tan, Ph.D., associate professor, project leader. Winner of the Outstanding Youth Fund of the Natural Science Foundation of Henan Province, and a young backbone teacher in colleges and universities in Henan Province. He graduated from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, majoring in materials physics and chemistry, under the tutelage of researcher Qu Shengchun and Academician Wang Zhanguo, engaged in the preparation of semiconductor nanostructure materials and the research of thin-film photovoltaic devices. The current research content is nano-energy materials and devices (liquid-phase preparation technology of semiconductor low-dimensional materials and bulk heterostructures, new thin-film solar cells, photoelectric detection, organic semiconductor photoelectric devices, etc.). As the first or corresponding author, published 29 SCI papers in Adv. Mater., Mater. Today, Adv. Funct. Mater. Adv. Energy Mater., Nano Energy, J. Mater. Chem. A and other journals, and co-published Nat. Energy, Nat. Commun. and other 15 papers, presided over the undertaking of the National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund Project, Henan Natural Science Foundation Excellent Youth Fund, Henan Provincial Science and Technology Department Basic and Frontier Project, Henan Provincial Colleges and Universities Youth Key Teacher Project, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, etc., as a backbone member, participated in the National 973 Program, National Major Projects, and Key Projects. Obtained 6 national invention patents.


Study and work experience:

In July 2006, graduated from the School of Materials and Environmental Sciences, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, majoring in materials physics, with a bachelor's degree;

In July 2011, graduated from the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, majoring in material physics and chemistry, and obtained a doctorate in engineering;

Associate Professor, Provincial Key Laboratory of Photovoltaic Materials, Henan University since June 2012.

From June 2017 to June 2018, Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, University of Toronto, Canada, Sargent Research Group, National Government Visiting Scholar.


Main research directions:

1. Liquid-phase preparation of inorganic, organic-inorganic hybrid semiconductor nanostructure materials, quantum dot materials and composite heterostructure construction;

2. New thin-film solar cells, photodetector materials and devices;

3. Organic functional semiconductor molecular design and optoelectronic functional devices.
